Current data practices

This initial website is designed as a static informational site. It does not provide user accounts, laboratory uploads, medical-record storage, or an online patient service. The synthetic demo does not accept visitor input.

Personal health information

Do not submit laboratory reports, medical records, symptoms, diagnoses, medication lists, or other personal health information through this website or by email. HealthRadar is not offering a clinical service through this public site.

Email

When you contact HealthRadar by email, the information you choose to send will be used to review and respond to the inquiry and to maintain ordinary business records. The Work with HealthRadar page opens your email application with a fixed inquiry category in the subject line; the website does not collect or store the message. Email should not be used for urgent or confidential medical communication.

Analytics and cookies

HealthRadar uses Plausible Analytics for bounded aggregate measurement of the homepage evidence section, Yardstick landing page, Perspectives articles, public synthetic demonstration, and Work with HealthRadar pathway. Measurements include homepage clicks to Yardstick and the demo, Yardstick and Perspectives pageviews, referral and approved campaign attribution, manuscript PDF views and downloads, Perspective links to Yardstick, the demo, and Work with HealthRadar, demo views, the first demo interaction, completion of all three synthetic demo views, demo links to Yardstick and Work with HealthRadar, HealthRadar demo and collaboration clicks, Work with HealthRadar views, fixed inquiry-category selections, direct-email clicks, and relevant outbound-link clicks. Plausible is not used for advertising, profiling, session recording, or collecting message contents or health information.

Plausible may process the page path, referrer and approved campaign values, event name, browser, operating system, device type, approximate geographic area, and engagement information. Custom event properties are limited to a fixed routing source and one of six fixed inquiry-category codes; demo events contain no laboratory values, report contents, free text, or other visitor-entered information. No names, email addresses, organizations, message text, or health information are sent. HealthRadar removes query parameters except the exact approved LinkedIn campaign values. Click-target URLs are sent without query strings or fragments.

Plausible states that it does not use cookies or persistent visitor identifiers, does not track people across websites, devices, or days, and processes and stores visitor data in the European Union. Plausible retains analytics while the HealthRadar account remains active and as needed to provide the service; HealthRadar can delete its site data or account.

Because this implementation does not use analytics cookies or persistent identifiers, it does not present an analytics-cookie control. You may prevent analytics requests by disabling JavaScript or using browser content-blocking tools. Privacy questions and applicable privacy requests may be sent using the contact information below. HealthRadar's hosting network, Cloudflare, may set the __cf_bm security cookie to support bot management. Cloudflare states that this cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity, is generated separately for each site, and does not track visitors from site to site or from session to session. It is not used by HealthRadar or Plausible for advertising or analytics. Read Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

External links

Future research items may link to third-party publications, videos, or services. Those services will have their own privacy practices.

Embedded external media is configured not to load until you choose to play it. Playback connects directly to the named media host, which may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details under its own privacy practices.
